Job Summary:

SUNY Brockport currently has multiple temporary clerical positions across our campus. These positions may be in an academic department or business office. Interested applicants may apply by including a cover letter and resume. 

Duties may include:

  • Managing work study students.
  • Calendar management.
  • Running various reports and reviewing data.
  • May directly support multiple faculty members if in an academic department.

Temporary clerical positions may be needed short-term or long-term and may be needed for various offices and departments.

All permanent clerical positions are hired through Civil Service Exams/Lists.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • Experience in a clerical work setting. 
  • Ability to type at lease 30 words per minute.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with budgeting and calendar management.
  • Effective multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and respectfully with all people.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday
