||SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Support Specialist. The person in this role will aid in the coordination of SUNY Brockport’s graduate assistant/teaching assistant efforts (GA/TA) – including department proposal processes, GA/TA application and hiring procedures, budgeting, and eligibility tracking. They support strategic efforts to leverage GA/TA positions for graduate enrollment purposes, including the alignment of graduate admission and GA/TA offers. The Graduate Support Specialist assists the Center for Graduate Studies with enrollment management efforts that impact graduate admission and graduate student retention.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
• Aptitude to learn and utilize new technologies and computer software
• Effective customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse team members and internal/external constituents.
• One to two years of professional work experience.
• Proficiency in the detailed use of Forms Banner, Self-service Banner and Slate.
• Familiarity with recruitment, admissions and retention.
• Experience with managing budgets and ability to track data.
• Familiarity with general hiring practices and related processes.

|Salary and Benefits:
||The Minimum Salary for this position is $44,865.
