Job Summary:

The Office Assistant 1 position will perform gift, non-gift, pledge, and data entry into Banner; process all donor acknowledgement letters; serve as primary staff for phone coverage; process and distribute the daily mail; maintain scanning and filing systems.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Gift/non-gift/pledge entry.
  • Preparation/printing/mailing of acknowledgment letters.
  • Scanning and filing of documents.
  • Phone coverage/monitoring.
  • Distribution of mail.

 

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Stay current in University wide Payment Card Industry (PCI) initiatives.
  • Maintain filing systems.
  • Assist with purchase requisitions as necessary.
  • Assist with ordering of supplies as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to do the duties of the position in a timely manner. This is a temporary part time position. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the Banner Information System.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Experience working in a culturally diverse setting.

Work Schedule: 20 Hours/Week; Monday-Friday; 8am - 12pm
Salary and Benefits:

$16.36
