Job Summary: An integral member of the Student Behavioral Consultant Team (SBCT), the non-clinical case manager will focus on promoting a holistic approach to student well-being through early intervention and support, including ongoing support for the students. The case manager will collaborate with student services and academic departments to address the needs of students who may struggle in areas such as mental and physical health, social integration, family concerns, a crisis situation and financial insecurity. The case manager will also provide direct support to the University’s basic needs program. This role aligns services with the institution's commitment of inclusivity and equity, working to enhance overall student success and retention. The case manager reports to the Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs/Student Behavioral Consultant Team (SBCT) Chair.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Counseling, Public Health, Higher Education or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a case manager or related role.
  • Experience working with individuals who are experiencing behavioral health related issues and/or other challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Experience working with data management computer systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a college setting.
  • Experience working on a college-based behavioral intervention team or similar entity.
  • Case Management Certification.
  • Experience supervising student interns.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional evenings or weekends
Salary and Benefits:

The minimum salary for this position is $64,474.
