Mental Health Counselor in various locations
SUNY Brockport has an opening for a Mental Health Counselor position (11 months) with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025. Reporting to and under the direction and supervision of the Associate Director of the Counseling Center in the Hazen Center for Integrated Care, this individual will be responsible for providing a wide range of direct mental health services to all enrolled students; developing and implementing mental health programs for the campus community; and collaborating with on and off campus offices to ensure students are able to access all appropriate resources. The Counselor will facilitate initial mental health assessments; develop treatment plans and arrange for appropriate follow up care which may include treating the student via individual and/or group counseling at the Counseling Center or referring the student to a community behavioral health provider or other community resource. Aligning with University goals, the Counselor will facilitate outreach programs and workshops and collaborate closely with campus partners to support wellness. When necessary, the Counselor is actively involved in helping manage crisis situations.

The Major Gift Officer plays a critical role in the fundraising strategy, focusing on cultivating, soliciting, stewarding, and expanding relationships with prospects and donors from all constituent groups of the University who have the capacity to contribute gifts of $25,000+. The Major Gift Officer manages a portfolio of approximately 125-150 relationships comprised of prospects, donors, and friends of the university who have the capacity to make gifts at the major gift level. The Major Gift Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing the moves management program for all assigned constituents with a goal of securing new major gifts in support of university fundraising priorities.

SUNY Brockport Athletics invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach Special Teams Coordinator. This is a full time, benefit-eligible 12-month position. The successful candidate will assist in operations of a competitive and inclusive NCAA Division III Football Program with an emphasis on supporting and retaining football student-athletes. This includes working with at-risk football student-athletes on academics and acclimating them to campus life. The individual will report to the Director of Athletics. Weekend, holiday, early morning and/or late night evening hours are required.
