SUNY Brockport is seeking an Accessibility Specialist to join the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) team. This position is responsible for reviewing documentation to determine disability eligibility and reasonable accommodations, including housing accommodations and assistance animals. The Accessibility Specialist will conduct student disability interviews, and write accommodation letters while maintaining accurate records. They will collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure effective accommodation implementation and facilitate interactive meetings with students and faculty to address accommodation needs, self-advocacy, and problem-solving. Additionally, the specialist will support ADA/504 compliance by advising students and families, referring them to appropriate resources, and assisting with campus-wide accessibility initiatives. The role includes researching innovative programming, overseeing accessibility-related workshops, and participating in community and campus outreach events. This position also involves collaborating with campus partners and supporting the Director in advancing the University’s strategic goals related to accessibility. The Accessibility Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring equal access and fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with disabilities.

Graduate Nursing Clinical Placement Coordinator in Brockport, NY
SUNY Brockport, Department of Nursing seeks applicants for a Graduate Nursing Clinical Placement Coordinator (GNCPC). The GNCPC works collaboratively with faculty and staff to place students in clinical rotations for the nursing graduate programs. The GNCPC maintains and tracks all mandatory information for students and faculty required by the health care institutions, including health forms, federal exclusion lists, background checks, and ensuring student electronic medical record access. Serves as a liaison between the SUNY Brockport and the health care institutions by ensuring affiliation agreements are current and in compliance, CCNE accreditation documents are in order and appropriate communication before and after clinical placements occurs with community preceptors. Acts as a resource and facilitates communication for staff, faculty and students in the graduate program, including responding to program inquires.

The SUNY Brockport athletic department is comprised of 24 sports and is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Sports Information Director. The Assistant Sports Information Director plays a vital role in promoting and enhancing the visibility of SUNY Brockport’s 24 varsity athletic programs. This position assists in the execution of digital content creation, game-day operations, and overall storytelling to engage fans, recruits, alumni, and the campus community. The Assistant Sport Information Director will contribute to the department’s social media, website, and statistical operations while ensuring consistent branding and messaging in alignment with the College’s mission and NCAA and Empire 8 guidelines. The Assistant Director of Athletic Communications reports directly to the Director of Athletic Communications and is responsible for all aspects of publicizing the 24 intercollegiate athletic programs at Brockport. The position will assist in developing and coordinating a comprehensive and integrated marketing communications program including media and public relations, publications, advertising, promotional items, signage, Web site, social media, and e-communications to help achieve the goals of the university’s athletic program. The successful incumbent will ensure that information about Brockport's athletics program is available to the public in a timely and effective manner by developing and coordinating a comprehensive program of sports coverage which focuses on both the competitive and non-competitive activities and includes information on student-athletes and teams.
